Book Description:
SHANNON DE CROIX HAD BIG PLANS
But a serious injury ended her dreams of making the nation's top ski team.
Now, with her handsome coach, Hudson Landers, at her side, Shannon hopes to
compete again. But though she trusts Hudson's judgment, she wants to train
harder.
Hudson cares too much about Shannon to let her risk her life just for the sake of competition. He fears that one more fall could destroy her future and break her heart. Can Shannon and the disabled kids he coaches show him that falling down and getting back up again is what faith and love are all about?

My Review:
Shannon de Croix’s world crashes around her when she is injured in a ski accident. Not only is her ski career now in jeopardy, but her boyfriend leaves her to chase after his own medal. Both her and her father have worked hard to build Ridgewood Ski Lodge and Ski Team in hopes that she would one day be a part of the U.S. Ski Team. She feels her father will not love her unless she is competing among those on the top ski team. Coach Hudson Landers would rather see her not compete if it is a risk to her health. Join Shannon and Hudson as they deal with guilt, life changes, and a bubbling romance.
The author Elizabeth Goddard did a great job of bringing the characters to life. Love on the Slopes is well written. I really enjoyed how she subtlety sneaked in glimpses of her faith. I highly recommend this book, you will find it to be a great clean read.
