Book Description from Amazon: After a whirlwind romance, Taryn Young is preparing to board a plane at Houston
International Airport, bound for a dream honeymoon, when a bomb decimates the
terminal. Injured but still alive, she awakens to discover her husband is
missing and they’re both considered prime suspects in the attack. Further, the
FBI is convinced her husband isn’t who he appears to be.
Agent Grayson
Hall’s number-one priority is to catch those responsible for the day’s act of
terror. All evidence is pointing to Taryn and her new husband. But his instinct
tells him her pleas of innocence are genuine. Is her naiveté just for show, or
could she truly be another victim of a master scheme, possibly linked to the
software she recently developed for her company?
With both their lives
and reputations on the line, and the media outcry for justice increasing with
each passing minute, Taryn and Grayson have no choice but to trust one another .
. . and pray they can uncover the truth before they become two more casualties.
My Review: Firewall is a fantastic book by DiAnn Mills, it is Christians Fiction with romance and suspense.
Firewall will keep you at the edge of your seat with page turning suspense and action around every corner. Taryn Young Shepherd thinks her dreams have come true when she married Shep. Software developer Taryn leaves the office behind as she sets off on her dream honeymoon but an explosion at the airport puts her on the FBI most wanted list and leaves the country vulnerable to a terrorist attack. Join Taryn and FBI agent Grayson Hall as they try to stop the terrorist and prove her innocence. Firewall is one of best books that I have read by DiAnn Mills. I highly recommend this five star book. It is action packed and fast paced sure to please Christian suspense fans.

Here to Stay by Melissa Tagg
Book Description from Amazon: After playing nomad for five years, Blake Hunziker has finally had enough of adventure. Not sure what reception he'll get from everyone back in Whisper Shore, he's stunned at not only a warm welcome from his hometown but also a job offer. The job is his if he can successfully pull off the annual Christmas Festival. If only he knew the first thing about coordinating events...
If there's one thing Autumn Kingsley knows, it's Whisper Shore. For years, she's been stuck running her family's inn when all she wants is to see the world. Now she has a visit scheduled from a potential investor who could take over the inn, as well as a dream job offer in Paris. But with just two weeks to whip the inn into shape, her chance at escape is a long shot.
The Hunzikers and the Kingsleys may not get along, but Blake knows Autumn's the only one who can help him. She agrees to a trade--she'll help with the Festival and he'll help with inn repairs. But what was meant to be a simple deal quickly becomes much more than that when the guy who's done running away joins forces with the girl who can't wait to leave.
My Review:
Here to Stay by Melissa Tagg
Here to Stay is a great contemporary Christion fiction. Autumn Kingsley sets aside her dreams to run the family inn when all she has ever wanted was to see the world. The prodigal son, Blake Hunziker returns home after traveling the world over. Tired of running he comes home to put down roots. Autumn and Blake’s families remind me of the Hatfields and McCoys but they put aside their families differences and team up to save the town by co coordinating the Christmas festival. You are sure to fall in love with the homey town of Whisper Shore and the characters too. This novel is well thought out, the characters are well developed, full of wit and heartwarming romance that will keep you turning the pages. Here to Stay is the second book by Melissa Tagg, but her first, Made to Last will find it’s way into my to be read pile. I give Here to Stay five stars.
I want to thank the author Melissa Tagg and publisher Bethany House for bringing good clean Christian books like this one to readers like me. I would also like to thank The Book Club Network Inc. for providing me with this book in exchange for my honest review.

Death Takes a Ride
The Cate Kinkaid Files
by Lorena McCourtney
About the book:
Cate Kinkaid arrives at H&B Classic Auto Restorations to give a friend a
ride. But, as usual, trouble finds Kate even there--this time in the form of one
dead man, one wounded man, and what appears to be a pretty obvious case of
self-defense. Owner Matt Halliday wants to hire her, but not for this case.
Instead, Cate is charged with finding a man who owns a particular motorcycle
Matt would like to buy. As her search progresses, she begins to suspect that the
shooting in Matt's office may not have been as cut-and-dried as it
appeared.
Bestselling and award-winning author Lorena McCourtney takes readers on another wild ride of mystery in this clever cozy mystery, part of her popular series The Cate Kinkaid Files.

My Review:
Death Takes a Ride, The Cate Kinkaid Files by Lorena McCourtney
Doing a good deed takes an mysterious turn when Cate Kinkaid shows up at H&B Vintage Auto Restoration to give a ride to friend of her aunts. When shoots are fired one life is ended, one hangs in the by a thread, while yet another is riddled with guilt. The detective in Cate can’t help but be curious as to why it was done because it is fairly obvious it was self-defense. But nothing is as it seems. Author Lorena McCourtney did an outstanding job of bringing the characters to life. I found Death Takes a Ride to be entertaining, funny and a fast paced clean read. It is a Christian romance with lots of mystery. I truly enjoyed this 5 star book. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.

The Revealing by Suzanne Woods Fisher
The Revealing
Book 3 - The Inn at Eagle Hill
By Suzanne Woods Fisher
Book Description:
Naomi King, soft spoken, loyal, and easily overlooked, has a gift. She sees what others can’t see. Intuition, she calls it. Others in Stoney Ridge don’t know what to make of it and dismiss her hunches and inklings altogether. When a young woman arrives at the Inn at Eagle Hill with a shocking secret about Tobe Schrock, Naomi fears the worst. She can’t ignore the feeling that something sinister is at work– something more than a threat to the tenuous love begun between her and Tobe.
As signs mount, they begin to point to Jake Hertzler, the elusive mastermind behind Schrock Investments’ downfall. Soon, events spiral hopelessly out of control and Naomi must decide whether to listen to her head or her heart.
In this riveting conclusion to The Inn at Eagle Hill series, bestselling author Suzanne Woods Fisher pulls out all the stops with a fast-paced tale of deception, revelation, and just the right dose of romance.
My Review:
The Revealing is Amish fiction, with deception, mystery and a little romance. I give this wonderful book 4 stars. It was a very good read, the characters are well developed and thought out. Naomi King secretly marries Tobe Schrock right before he is due to report to prison. Everything is on the line, if her secret is revealed because he is not baptized and thought to be a bad egg. Her world crashes around her when a mystery guest shows up at The Inn at Eagle Hill claiming to be pregnant for Tobe. The Revealing brings to a close The Inn at Eagle Hill Series. My Review: 5 Stars
Fatal Exchange by Lisa Harris
Lisa Harris hit it out the park with this one. The last thing in the world Emily Hunt wants is to be is a cop or be in a relationship with one. Having grown up in a family of cops she decides, on a safe career, like a teacher. But her world is turned upside down when her classroom is taken hostage by student Rafael Cerda. Rafael is being controlled by the drug cartel that is holding his brother and mother hostage. Mason Taylor is the undercover cop that has been mentoring Rafael, when Emily’s class is taken he try’s to negotiate their release. When that fails he makes sure he gets in the class to help. As Mason and Emily struggle to survive they fight unwanted feelings for one another.
Fatal Exchange is a magnificent novel, I give it five stars. It is Christian fiction with romance and mystery. Fast paced and full of action it is sure to keep you at the edge of your seat. It is book two of the Southern Crimes Series. You can read this book alone but I am sure you will want to read Dangerous Passage book one in the series.

My review:
Deadly Intent, Strong Women Extraordinary Situations, a novella by Margaret Daley
Deadly Intent is just that, deadly to your time because you will not be able to put it down until the last page. Texas Ranger Sarah Osborn is sent to investigate the thief of a prized stallion. Ian’s stallion Thunder is missing and could be part of a cattle rustling ring or something much more personal. Sarah and Ian have a past, but he had left town and left Sarah heartbroken. Read this fantastic novella to see if they can rekindle the lost love they once had or fall prey a dangerous game. The two main characters both had strong captivating personalities. The author Margaret Daley has written a fantastic book that is sure to keep you at the edge of your seat. If you like fast paced, romance and suspense at every corner you are sure to love this five star book. I highly recommend it. Deadly Intent is book two of this series but can be read alone. Blind Trust by Sandra Orchard
Book Description: Blind Trust, Port Aster Secrets Book #2
Releases June 2014
Kate Adams had no idea she was carrying counterfeit money, and she can’t believe that it came from her sweet neighbor. Or that it lands her in the middle of another one of Detective Tom Parker’s investigations. Determined to prove her neighbor’s innocence, Kate stumbles into a pit of intrigue that is far deeper than a two-bit counterfeit operation–and strikes too close to home for comfort. As family secrets come to light, her world–and her budding romance with Tom–begin to crumble. To Kate, it’s clear that she won’t be safe until she uncovers all of Port Aster’s secrets. But is it too late for her and Tom?
My Review:
Kate Adams finds herself in the middle of a two-bit counterfeiting ring when she is caught passing counterfeit bills from her elderly neighbor. Detective Tom Parker is sent yet again to investigate Kate. They fight a growing attraction as they try to prove her innocence and save her beloved neighbor from her greedy son. As if that was not enough she is being followed, a big corporation is endangering her research, she is falsely accused and being deceived. This is the first book I have read from author Sandra Orchard but it surly will not be the last. Blind Trust is book two in the Port Aster Secrets series. I have to wonder what I missed by not reading book one, Deadly Devotion. I was somewhat upset with the cliff hanger ending but will be sure to pick up book three. I found the characters to be well thought out and developed. The story line is fast paced, full of suspense and a hint of romance. I give Blind Trust five stars and have added Sandra Orchard to my list of great authors that I look forward to reading from.
