Book Description:After a youth filled with tragedy and upheaval, Sarah Miller's life is finally settled with all echoes of the past silent at last. She happily calls Sanctuary her home and spends her days teaching at the local school.
Sarah's joy at her recent reunion with her sister, Hannah, and meeting the niece she didn't know she had is too soon interrupted when Deputy Sheriff Paul Gleason informs Sarah her sister has been killed.
As she learns more about Hannah's death, the circumstances are eerily similar to their parents' murder. Sarah enlists Paul's help in digging deeper into the murders the police are dismissing as burglaries gone wrong. Paul's concern encourages Sarah's growing feelings for him, but as their investigation peels back the layers of lies almost twenty years old, they get close to uncovering the truth one person will do anything to hide--even if that means coming after the last remaining members of the Miller family.

When Hannah’s murder starts to look similar to the death of their parents, she turns to Deputy Paul Gleason. With his help they investigate the twenty year murder of her parents. Deadly Echoes will capture and hold your attention from the very start. Nancy Mehl captivates her audience with action, fast paced fiction filled with inspiring faith and suspense. She has done a fantastic job of bring life to Deadly Echoes. I highly recommend this 5 star book and any of her others. It is book 2 in the Finding Sanctuary series but can be read as a stand alone. If you have not read book 1 Gathering Shadows, you are missing a great book. I hope there will be a book 3 in this series. GREAT JOB Nancy Mehl.

I want to give a high-five to the author Nancy Mehl and publisher Bethany House for bringing compelling Christian books that are entertaining and give hope to the reader with stories of faith. I was provided me with this book in exchange for my honest review and I am so grateful for the authors and publishers generosity.

Jessie Stanton had it all. She had the mansion, husband and any martial possessions every girl dreams of. After fourteen years of marriage she witnesses her car being towed, her credit cards are declined and her husband and his belonging are gone. He has left her homeless and taken anything with value. I laughed with her and my heart broke for her but she is one resilient chic. She handles each and every bump in the road with grace and dignity. She finds hope when things look hopeless. The ending took me by surprise, so book 2 best not be far behind.

Sandra D. Bricker has done it again, with this 5 star book. She has a way of writing entertaining stories and interweaving faith throughout. She is one of my favorite authors. I highly recommend this book and any other she has written. If I learned anything from this book it is, possessions are just that things. What really matters is friendships and faith.
