Sarah's joy at her recent reunion with her sister, Hannah, and meeting the niece she didn't know she had is too soon interrupted when Deputy Sheriff Paul Gleason informs Sarah her sister has been killed.
As she learns more about Hannah's death, the circumstances are eerily similar to their parents' murder. Sarah enlists Paul's help in digging deeper into the murders the police are dismissing as burglaries gone wrong. Paul's concern encourages Sarah's growing feelings for him, but as their investigation peels back the layers of lies almost twenty years old, they get close to uncovering the truth one person will do anything to hide--even if that means coming after the last remaining members of the Miller family.

When Hannah’s murder starts to look similar to the death of their parents, she turns to Deputy Paul Gleason. With his help they investigate the twenty year murder of her parents. Romance is on the horizon as they encounter danger, twist and turns and wonder who can be trusted. .
Deadly Echoes will capture and hold your attention from the very start. Nancy Mehl captivates her audience with action, fast paced fiction filled with inspiring faith and suspense. She has done a fantastic job of bring life to Deadly Echoes. I highly recommend this 5 star book and any of her others. It is book 2 in the Finding Sanctuary series but can be read as a stand alone. If you have not read book 1 Gathering Shadows, you are missing a great book. I hope there will be a book 3 in this series. GREAT JOB Nancy Mehl.
I want to give a high-five to the author Nancy Mehl and publisher Bethany House for bringing compelling Christian books that are entertaining and give hope to the reader with stories of faith. I was provided me with this book in exchange for my honest review and I am so grateful for the authors and publishers generosity.
